Welcome to Acacia Fleet, one of the newest fleets in Starfleet. Headquartered on Federation Space Station Starbase 49, the Acacia Fleet controls a large portion of Federation space that borders the Klingon and Romulan empires. The fleet's mission is to regulate space travel in the sector, protect important interstellar trade routes and explore the outer reaches of Federation space.
Do you have a SIMM and looking for a fleet to join? Don't look any further. Head over to the Recruitment Office and register your ship or starbase. Benefit from a large userbase to draw players from, a central forum to interact with fellow Star Trek fans and more traffic to you site! We are happy to welcome you to the fleet.
Acacia Fleet is a spin-off site of the Starbase49.com website. We have more than 10 years of experience with Starbase49.com, and Acacia Fleet is the next step in the evolution of the Starbase 49 universe.
To give you all some more information on what's going on behind the scenes, I started a new blog on this website, called the Acacia Fleet Yards blog. In this blog I will post updates with images of the work in progress on the different 3D models I'm creating for my websites. The first entry has already been posted, so head over to the Acacia Fleet Yards and have a look!
As a starting fleet, we need more players and SIMMs. Therefore we are looking for officers that want to join the recruitment office and go out to find players and SIMMs all over the internet. Do you want to promote Acacia Fleet? Then apply for the role of 'recruitment office' in your account settings.
Don't you think a new fleet should have a new slogan? Currently we are using the rather corny 'to boldly go where no fleet has gone before', but we think you can come up with a better slogan than that!
We ask all members of the site to think with us and send in as many slogans as possible. The fleet admiralty will then pick one of the submissions to become our official fleet slogan! Wouldn't it be nice to see your slogan on top of every page on the fleet website? What are you waiting for, submit your suggestion now using the comment form on the bottom of this news item.
