Founded in 2358 and headquartered on Federation Space Station Starbase 49, the Acacia Fleet controls a large portion of Federation space that borders the Klingon and Romulan empires. The fleet's mission is to regulate space travel in the sector, protect important interstellar trade routes and explore the outer reaches of Federation space.
