Captain i just got word from Neal he said he is having problems with his computer so he cant get on until it is fixed he may not be on for 1 week.

May I remind him back then that that is not true. The servicerecords clearly show a promotion to Cadet 2nd class on July 21, 2365. He has two more months to go.

I'll be on Earth this weekend for the Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf, the Netherlands, the oldest pop festival ever with it's 397th edition :P

I sent an e-mail to Athena, asking when the operation will be and what the doctor said, and told her you all send your best wishes. I haven't recived an answer yet but will let you know.

Thank you so much for the best wishes. The surgery had originally been
planned for this coming Tuesday but instead he's going to have an angiogram
to check the blood vessels in his neck. This past Thursday a vascular
surgeon went in through his groin and put one stint in both legs to open up
the circulation. It was a success. With that improvement as well as the
improvement of his blood pressure he was released from the hospital with
orders to rest and take care of himself.
On Monday, June 4th he will be going in for triple bypass surgery as well as
stinting to be done to both main arteries of his neck which are also majorly
blocked. Unless something happens in the interim, this is the schedule. I'll
keep you all updated.

Things are going OK. I'm sorry for the long absense. Hub went in for surgery
this morning and all went well. When I left he was still hooked to the
ventilator in ICU. They were having a problem keeping his BP stable. I'll
keep you posted.

Good News from Athena,
Thanks all for the prayers. Good news from my homefront. Hub has improved
greatly. On Monday(day of surgery) he woke up at 2030 at which point doctor
removed him from the ventilator and discontinued a number of his IVs.
Yesterday they stood him up for the first time and pivoted him into a
recliner to eat and sit up for part of the day. I went to visit him after
work at which point he asked me to stay with him. So I did. Last night the
doctor came in and took out the drainage tubes from the incision sight.
Today he's being moved out of ICU and his foley dc'd. The doctor also stated
that barring any complications hub should be discharged from the hosp either
Friday or Saturday.

I will be absent from the 16th to the 21st of July, as I am moving flat. Luckily, this time, it is already internet enabled. No long absence after this move.
(Yes, I know it is a long time for a move, but I am also still working full time, and being a shift worker, is very tiring doing daft hours and moving too...)
