This is my Character:Role Playing
Kent was born in Sacramento California, Earth in 2308, to Isaac and Amelia Taylor. His father, Lt Cmdr Isaac G Taylor, was in Starfleet. When he was about two weeks old his father was assigned on a support mission on a Federation Outpost and they left for Areona 4.
At the age of 17, in 2325, he attempted the Starfleet Academy entrance exams, but failed. A month after his first attempt, his father died in a horrible attack on the support station by a group of Aeona Rebels. His mother was devestated after this and it forced Kent to stay on Areona 4 to help with the upbringing of his sister and brothers.
In the little time he was not in the hospital with his mother, he helped out the old-colleages of his father on the support station, hoping he would one day get another chance at enlistment in Starfleet.
That day came in 2350 when his mother finally died after a long period of suffering. Because of his wealth of experience gained throughout his years on the outpost, he was accepted at Starfleet Academy despite his age. His experience also caused him to be posted aboard the U.S.S. Excelsior in his second year of the Academy under the command of Captain Hikaru Sulu. Because of his great service on this ship during his Academy years he gained the rank of Lieutenant J.G. even before his graduation.
After his graduation he became the Chief Science Officer on the Excelsior and witnessed the final years of this magnificent ship.
In 2355 he accepted a post as head of the Starbase 49 Space Station Development Project on Earth. When the construction of this new space station commenced in 2363 he was assigned to the U.S.S. Limburgia as Chief Science Officer under the command of "Captain Roy Veldman"

Cadets Log: Stardate 2350.6
I've been at the Accademy for six months now, went to chow in the Cadets Messhall, sat down at a table, everyone moved away looking at me funny. It didn't bother me, had to much on my mind with all my studies. Just came from Biology, so wasn't that hungry anyway.
My room mate sat down with one of his friends, they told me everyone is talking that I'm a plant from Starfleet. that makes perfect sence now, why everyone moved when I sat down.

Cadets Log: Stardate 2351.4
Was in class(Subspace Mechanics)when I was confronted by an upper classman, Rand,(I was taking some of there class for extra credit)He said he was tired of me always having the answers, told me he didn't like me either. I said ok, then I walked away.
I walked around a bit, found myself in the garden, I was looking around, low and behold, there was Old Boothby, I haven't seen him in a couple months. You can get all the lowdown from him.
Kent: Hi Boothby,
Boothby: looking up to see who it is, Oh hi Kent, how is everything,
Kent: Oh it's ok,
Boothby: Thats not what I hear, so you had some words with Rand huh,
Kent: Well ya,
Boothby: I hear YOU walked away,
Kent: Yes, I did, I'm not going to fight at the Academy, fighting is for enemy's. were all on the same side.
Boothby: That is right, no fighting at the Academy, I also hear there is a opening for a cadet to be posted aboard the U.S.S. Excelsior, I don't know who but I hear he is experienced, Hows things on Areona 4,have you heard from the outpost lately?
Kent: As a matter of fact I have, there fine but they do miss my help.
Boothby: well I have to get back to work, Good by Kent.
Kent: Good by Boothby see you later.
Went back to the barracks, found a letter on my bunk, it was my post to the USS Excelsior, with field-rank of Ensign.

Cadets Log: Stardate 2351.5
Beamed aboard the USS Excelsior and was greeted in the Transporter room by Mr Velting, Science Officer of the USS Excelsior, Mr Velting showed me to my quarters, told me to settle in and report to Cpt. Sulu in his ready room.
I reported to Cpt. Sulu, he welcomed me and was impressed by all the experience I had gained before the Academy.
I was assigned to work with Mr Velting to further my education aboard the Starship.
I found out my brother was assigned here, he went through the academy a few years ago,and is, Lt. Guy P. Taylor he was tranfered to Outpost Areona 4 Support Station, welcome home, I hope he watches for those rebels.
I've always thought the best of starfleet were sons and daughters of the best of starfleet, but I've found out not always.

Cadets Log: Stardate 2353.3
I had been working at the science station, when Mr Velting came up to me and told me Capt. Sulu wanted to see me in his ready room.
I reported to Capt. Sulu, not sure what it was all about,he told me my work is exelent and promoted me to field-rank of Lieutenant J.G. and told me Mr Velting was retireing when we got back to the academy, and asked if I would like to serve on the U.S.S. Excelsior as Science Officer, after graduation from the academy,I said yes, and he told me he would put in a request for me to be assigned to the U.S.S. Excelsior, then dismissed me.

Cadets Log: Stardate 2354
Graduated Starfleet Academy today, top of my class and was promoted to Lieutenant, recieved orders to report to the U.S.S. Excelsior as Chief Science Officer.
Reported to Capt. Sulu, he welcomed me to the ship and told me we were going to patrol the Cardassian border, thats where we were while I was in training, he said I was Chief Science Officer, and to report to the bridge and be ready to get underway.

Officers Log: 2354,
Capt.Sulu, entered the bridge from his ready room,
and said, Helmsman, set course for the Cardassian border warp three--Engage.
we reached the Cardassian border and there was a Cardassian freighter, Bok'Nor used as a Cardassian patrol cruiser. The freighter hailed us, Capt.Sulu talked to the communications Officer, Commander Rand, and told her what he wanted her to do, then he answered the hail.
The Cardassians were upset to see us here and asked Capt.Sulu what we were doing here.
Capt.Sulu said we are patroling the border to keep the Federation safe. at that time a, Cardassian warship,Typical Cardassian Galor-class ship, came up behind the Bok'Nor. and Hailed us, Capt.Sulu said, report Lt Taylor, I told him the Cardassian ship was armed and ready for battle, and had more firepower than we had. then Capt.Sulu answered the hail, The Cardassians said if we didn't leave the two of them were going to destroy the Excelsior, at that time Capt.Sulu looked at Commander Rand and noded and two Birds of Prey uncloaked, as per the UFP-Klingon peace treaty of 2293 and the USS Enterprise-C answered a distress call from the Klingon's Narendra III outpost, in 2344 . at that time the Cardassians said, there will be an other time, turned and left, everyone on the bridge started laughing, Capt.Sulu stood up quickly and looked around in anger, the laughing stoped, and then Capt.Sulu started laughing himself.

Officers Log: 2354.10
We patroled the borded for a long time and ran in to the Cardassian patrol ship a few times, but we had no communcations with them.
Capt.Sulu called me to his ready room, and told me they were going to take the USS Excelsior to spacedock. Didn't give me a reason. He said Starfleet had sent orders for me, then, he promoted me to Lt Cmdr and gave me my orders, I was to report to Earth, as head of the Starbase 49 Space Station Development Project on Earth.
then we both stood at attention, saluted, and shook hands, we then went to ten forward, where there was a party for me, because I was leaving.

Officers Log: 2355.1
I'm here on earth and ready to report to the, Starbase 49 Space Station Development Project.
We are at the drawing board with all the specifications for the spacestation, Lt Paul Locknar is working with me on the project.
We will have to prepare the parts to build the spacestation acording to the specifications we have for the starbase.
Lt Locknar took Spacestation development at the acadamy and is a valued member of the project, He has a knowlage of Spacestation development of at least 25 years, so we are off, this is the begaining of the development of Starbase 49.

Officers Log: 2358.4
We made all the parts to the specs, and were ready to load the ships, as the ships came, I was told to go on the frist ship to make sure I was there to oversee the unloading of the parts for the station. The ship I was on I loaded the parts, but as the other ships came in loaded by Lt Paul Locknar, the parts were not quite right.
We used more manpower to seperate the parts in to there category, everything seemed alright, but parts were missing here and there.
The comunications array was not working at that time, It would take us two weeks to get a reply from Starfleet.
I met with Captain Roy Veldman of the starship Limbugia, who is taking command of Starbase 49, I really felt relieved at this news,I talked to the Capt about the problems we were having at this time and the problems with the array, He told me to take control and he will be in his readyroom on the ship if I needed him, I thought he was taking over but I was still here doing the samething I was doing before he arrived.
Then, ADM Victor Regnum, Chief of Starfleet Communications, came aboard and said he was sent to take care of the problem.
Two days later we recived a comunacation from Starfleet they were sending ADM Victor Regnum, Chief of Starfleet Communications.
ADM Regnum, got the array working in two days.
Captain Veldman had sent a message to Starfleet about the problem. I didn't know at that time.
With the array up and running I could contact Lt Locknar, We coordinated a shipping schedule, and the parts are what we need when we need them now.

The construction of Starbase 49 is going well, we are reciving the personal we asked for.
The Command Staff is starting to arrive, so far we have, Myself.

Officers Log: 2362.9
Lt Cmdr Athena Zoden,Chief Counselor, is helping out by acclimating the recruits to there duties and the new station. and everyone is taking charge of there assignments.
We are however having some problems, the shipment of the parts are taking longer than we thought. So it will take longer than we originaly anticipated, and other problems, The computer centeral core crashed and the Chief Enigneer is working hard on it, We may have to evacuate everyone to the Limburgia, but we will get the job done.
