i've got an idea for a new Staff postion it's only an idea so you do'nt have ot lisen if you don;t want to.
a Hazard team:
It's a team of specially armoured officers/crewmen who have MX II phaser type weapons who go on the more dangerous missions or are used as scouts to check for danger before the rest of the away team go over.
So what you think?

IT's only a suggestion you haven't got to lisen it's your own choice but if you don't say if you have idea's then no one knows.

The 'Hazard Team' was used by the Voyager Crew in: Star Trek Voyager Elite Force 1 and 2
It worked quite well
This should be suggested to Captain Veldman ASAP

besides which, i trained the security staff back when i worked there, theyre better than the Marines allready!

I think it is an excellent idea. I would suggest you speak to Captain Veldman about this. If he is happy for this to happen then I will definately put it into place. In which case I will be speaking to you further about your ideas.
I like initiative, it is a good thing for a Security Officer to have.

Lieutenant Rockape is as powerless as me, as Commander Taylor, or the first officer. The man you want to speak to is the Captain, who unfortunatly is a very busy man. If the idea is adopted, Roy will post an announcement! Simple as.
Rockape, I'm here because our Andorian (The Lt Cmdr, I forget her name, been so long since i saw her move), Chief Tactical officer, Hasn't reported for duty in a long while.
If the situation relating to her improves, Ill happily request a transfer back, but at the moment, im doing the job of two senior officers!!!!!

Unfortunately not at the moment.
However, I have suggested to Capt Taylor that we have a meeting to discuss any Security Issues, so I will mention it to him then.

Alright, I'm not sure that I should say anything, so I hope this wasn't some big secret. SB49 Development Staff are currently throwing around a very loose idea about this place becoming a RPG Hub. What that is, is a website where other RPG's connect to our site as part of the Star Base 49 fleet, and people may go through our website to be assigned to an RPG. I've done these before, and they work extreemly well. www.aqsg.org is one. The difference is, ours will have discussion forums, including the one we use now. I also suspect that with the added commerce to SB49, we'll add new features down the road, though I do not know what yet, and this will require a special group of people to moderate over the different part of the site. Could it be the blueprint of a Hazard Team? A team that specializes in watching others actions? Perhaps. I'll relay that one into the Development Team Box for all of you.

I think that the hazard teams a plan, bt maybe wee shld make it more interesting getting a pilot, like myself, who is ready to takle any sub-space disturbace that the universe can throw at him, to fly them into heated situations an be the only one hu can land the craft in the biggest battle in the smallest drop-zone that has ever existed
