20 years after the Borg attack on Earth (Star Trek: First Contact), the United Confederation of Interstellar Planets was founded between the Romulans, Klingons and Starfleet. Unified against a common foe, the alliance between the three major powers of the Alpha Quadrant has been an uneasy one.
