Star Trek Bridge Commander

i see, i think the easiest way to take out Fed Starships is to disable their impulse engines and to destroy their warp engines. This is easy to do due to the construction and design of most UFP satrships. ie the nacelles stick out so you cn easily sever them at the pilons

Phasers low intensity, sheilds, then impulse engines, its great playing with a downed target that just cant kill you. (hint, phaser blind spot)

i like playing as a klingon BoP,  cloaking, going right next to a baddie, de clock, and fire right inside shields...

Thats a bug that can be fixed with a patch. but i thought, nah, why spoil the fun :P

What i found fun, was fighting a galaxy class ship, as a freighter.  my record is 2 minutes (until being destryoed lmao, u didnt think i killed it did you??)

my fave is oddly the a tie between a Romulan D'riduex class and a federation Steamrunner the fact that the nacells are part of the hull

I downloaded a neat Excelsior class ship and bridge mod, the ship runs fine, but the bridge takes ages to load on my ageing Athlon 1.3GHz. The Danube class looks really sound, until you realise it's bigger than a Galaxy...

I can't wait to try out some of the Nebula variants, or the Intrepid class.

I did not realize u could play as anything but a starfleet captain for bridge comander? is there different versions? i know this is a old post but i ahve recently been palying it so its new to me...
