Chapter 1: Academy Finals

Zachary Tyler was a 1st Class Cadet who was interested in the new Starbase that was being constructed under Captain Roy Veldman and he noticed that there were several Positions open aboard the Starbase many of which he excelled at in his physical Fitness and his studies but none was he more qualified in the Department of Strategic Operations where in the holodeck he had proved as the best Strategist in Academy in New York City.
     His Friends included many but his Closest were probably Ashley Robinson, Bartholomew Dickens, Ezri Tirgan, Shirra Cza, Deke Bistro, and Sallikar a Vulcan who was enrolled in Starfleet. He had most of the Most Important Classes today that he could definitely have a future. Engineering, Strategic Operations, Security/Tactical and J.A.G. (Judge Advocate General).
It was about 14:00 and he then received a Subspace Message from Captain Veldman and he said that he would like to see him and his friends on the Starbase at 16:30 so he agreed and went off to tell his friends.
When they arrived at the Starbase they saw that it was only half completed with only 123 decks (small Compared to other stations and bases) and they were showed to Captain Veldman’s Quarters. Where they were greeted by The Captain and the First officer who was Kra’tak of La’Rat. And when they approached Captain Veldman they did it with Caution because Klingons were Very hostile and Extremely Stupid in Starfleet’s Opinion. But Roy Set them Right he said “I know what you’re thinking, you think that I must be out of my mind for allowing a Klingon as my first officer, but you’re wrong he saved my life when I was to be sent to the Dilithium mine of  Urapente’ Where I was accused of Attacking a Klingon Bird of Prey which I didn’t and Kra’tak here Stepped in and saved my life, so I am Grateful and I will tell anyone who thinks about criticizes him to get off my Starbase” and Zach Replied “Good, I’m glad one Klingon has joined Starfleet, and Sir why did you want to see me?”  Veldman Replied I am looking for a few Junior Officers who are just out of the Academy and have fresh ideas” “ But sir which department will we be in?”  Ã¢â‚¬Å“It depends upon your Finals, Now I Suspect that you have some studying to do, See You Later” “by sir” they Said.

Zach was leaning over his Term Paper (53.What would be the best Military Maneuver to consider when you have 2 fast attack ships approaching) and Zach Replied The best Maneuver to Consider would be the confuse and sneak by sending one or two shuttlecraft to catch there attention and then send the more powerful ship to disable their radar and then lock on to them using a tractor beam and hail and make a settlement.
Then he turned his paper in as one of the first few people his eye Caught Sallikar’s eye and then they winked as he walked past to his desk.

It was late Afternoon and it was a clear sunny day Perfect for Graduation. As the Parents and family Members stepped in to the Courtyard, he wished his father could be there but his father was an a mission to the Delphic Expanse to provide assistance to an old NX Class starship that was surprisingly well held together Starfleet would for sure turn her into a Museum. When they called out his name he walked up with a slight smile that was withheld with a severe worry about his father whom he had not heard from him in about two months. But as he walked up to the podium he realized why they called me first then a voice announced announcing Zachary Tyler the Valedictorian of the class of 2361 and he noticed that it was Admiral Paris and then realized He was top of the class and he said to the 2000 of his Fellow Students “I had no idea about this so I didn’t do a speech which is for the better but I have this to say, Lets get this done and over with so we can go and part” “Then the admiral said Announcing Ensign Zachary Tyler assistant Chief of Strategic Operations aboard Starbase49” and he handed him his diploma with his rank and he first removed his cadet Rank and pinned his Single Golden Pip and yelled above the Crowd “LETS GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD”
