unimatrix zero one? is that the name???? something like that... i haven't seen any of you guys very much, i've been going camping... it's not exactly with the entire family... i'm the oldest of 3 children in our family... in other words, i'm the one that gets stuck with all the annoying jobs... anyway i'm getting off topic sorry mr v. i guess i should go now, i'm in a spcae/robotics camp right now, and they'll probably say get off soon, although they're not angry...
I think the episode was 'Unimatrix Zero' the point being it was a unimatrix within the borg that wasn't meant to exist. I wouldn't have got it if you hadn't made a stab at it first though Matt. My favourate Voyager episode is probably 'Someone To Watch Over Me.' I know it's isn't exactly pinacle, or exiting, but I guess at heart I'm a great big slushy romantic. AWWWW! I always thought they should have followed through with the Dr/7 romance. But they didn't. GRR. Shame on them! SHAME! 'Nough said.
That is kinda wierd. Sure she may have gone through the Delta Quadrent and all. But Picard has made eleven first contacts, and has fought in a war! It's crazy that he's still a captain.
Well I think that he didn't make admiral not because he wasn't asked, but because he didn't want it. I've been a desk jockey, it's no fun. Not when the real action lies right outside your office(figuratively speaking)
Janeway accepted promotion, hense she is an Admiral. Of course after all that crew went through for seven years, I don't blame for wanting to keep her feet on the ground and her head out of space. But it would still be a tough choice for me. LOL
Still, she knows so much about the Borg, Hirogen etc., she knows more about the Universe than any other Starfleet officer. Besides, I'm pretty sure she made more than 11 first contacts, and she fought in the Dominion, Species 8472 V Borg, and other various alien wars.
And as an admiral in frisco, she'd be a heck of a lot of help in those areas. I think SF would have been foolish to not even ask. Plus I think it's cool to see a woman in a position of power. Especially a reg char everyone knows.

She never fought in the Dominion War. Also, once you become an Admiral, you don't get to: Command a ship, "boldly go" (unless it is to the refresher, or replicator, or *dramatic drumbeats* PAPERWORK! *shocked screams, gasps, fainting*), and you can't do anything without directly dealing with a bureacracy. That is why Picard never got a promotion. Janeway did, because she was sick of "boldly going" so much.

Janeway and her crew were lost in the delta quadrant for 7 years, and that would be the reason she to the promotion, Picard was doind good where he was and didn't take the promotion, I don't remember any episode he was asked to become Admiral though but, In Generations Kirk told Picard not to accept a position of Admiral because on the bridge he can make a difference, and I think he knew that already.

*imitates Spock* Fascinating. He and I basically said the same thing. Vulcan mind link, or something. *raises eyebrow* But can he do the Vulcan handsign...?

I am quickly learning that nothing is hard to find. Or, nothing is as it seems. Just wondering, when will Starbase 49 be done being refurbished? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
I think we are doing good, in Med Office and Counsling, there is 4 of us interacting there, and BTW the captain is on shoreleave, so until he gets back we have what we have, and we will have to keep the ball bouncing. Athena and myself have been doing it for about a year or so, with the help of Adam, Virigina, Janson and others I can't think of just now, so hang in there....
