My favourite Eps always had Q or Lawaxanna Troi in them. They were great. I also loved Best Of Both Worlds. Even though with TNG I loved the eps more often then not. It is just my favourite incarnation of Star Trek.

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

Yes, Best of Both Worlds was great, it gave us a working knolage of how the Borg assimalated all cultures.

I think TNG as a whole gave you more in that area. You could understand things better. Things really weren't explained in TOS. Even though I liked that one as well. You felt for the chars more in TNG then in TOS. They were were real in TNG.

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

And in TNG they treated each other well, when you were in trouble, you knew it, but the correction was not malice.
It was by the rules.

Another episode I like is "All good things..." Even though it was the last episode, the production of it was awesome. It was intresting finding out that everyone was still on trial by Q, seeing the past, present, and future Enterpises all in one episode. It was intresing that in the future the Klingons dominated the galaxy. Most of all I LOVED that modified Enterprise. Super cannon is amazing.

The modified Enterprise was just plain silly.

I didn't mind the ship. Actually didn't think too much on it. I was more interested in the story. And it was very well told as well as acted.

Steven Smith
Lieutenant
Chief Strategic Operations Officer, Starbase 49

Roy, Why do you think it was silly? I thought it was pretty good.

Athena, I think the storyline was acted pretty well. I'm the type of people that look at the design and amimation type stuff on the show.

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

It was futuristic, it didn't realy happen after it was all over..... but it was good!!!..

But thats the reason they made it!

Athena Zoden

Well, must be a woman thing. The story was great. The ships are a cool sideline for me, but If the story isn't good, than the ships don't mean anything. LOLOLOL

Steven Smith
Lieutenant
Chief Strategic Operations Officer, Starbase 49

Yea, but I need a good ship and crew to make the storyline work well for me.

Three warpnacelles is very inefficient. And all the added things just disrupt the beautiful design of the Ent-D.

It really is about the story, I haven't seen a real picture of the U.S.S. Limburgia yet, but I have a picture of it in my mind, and it doesn't have Three warpnacelles, it looks like the Enterprise-B pretty much.

When I saw the revamped Enterprise in "All Good Things.." I thought it was cool. But the third nacelle to me did come across as a waste. Just didn't make sense.

My favorite episode would have to be when Captain Picard lives a lifetime in a matter of moments. Another one is Yesterday's Enterprise. That title I know. That is where Tasha Yar gets a second chance.

Athena Zoden
Commander
Chief Counselor, Starbase 49

Those episodes were cool. I liked them very much. Seeing Picard on that world, married and having children. That was beautiful to me.

And the one with Tasha, was good to. Seeing them all dressed different through me because they were now at war. But it was cool.

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

Yes it is good, called "The Inner Light", Stewart did a good job with Kalin, I'm sure I spelled that wrong-LOL

Hey, I'm sure I would to. Some of those name were a headache to try and spell. LOLOLOL But actually, I think you might have got it right this time, Kent.

Steven Smith
Lieutenant
Chief Strategic Operations Officer, Starbase 49

"Inner Light" and "Yesterday's Enterprise" were all great episodes. Wasn't that the only time we ever saw Enterprise-C?

Athena Zoden
Commander
Chief Counselor, Starbase 49

Yup. Exactly. Hence the birth of Tasha's half Romulan Daughter. I liked that char too.

Steven Smith
Lieutenant
Chief Strategic Operations Officer, Starbase 49

I thought it was kinda strange that she got a daoughter because of goign back in time.

Athena Zoden
Commander
Chief Counselor, Starbase 49

Suposedly things got a little messed up when the Enterprise C came back in time. So the events that led to Tasha's demise never happened cause the ship never visited the world. It was weird. I think it was a way of showing how maleable time it.

Steven Smith
Lieutenant
Chief Strategic Operations Officer, Starbase 49

I'll be thinking long and hard about how what she did could happen.

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

it told in the episode, tasha was found by a romulan general and kept alive to marry him and they had a baby..and tasha was sent there by Picard... on the Enterprise-C...

It can't happen, none of it is real...She went back in time(there is no timewarp)... You are warped if you even think you can figure it out.LOLOLOL

That was one ep that was supposed to really confuse the hang out of you. Is she or isn't she? I think it's meant for everyone to come up with their own explanation.

The main premise is, that if the Enterprise-C had not fought and been destroyed as it had been then the federation and klingons would have been at war. Which means that their experience with Armis wouldn't have happened. Which means Tasha wouldn't have died. She would have lived to the present day when the C appeared and went back with the ship and fought the battle along side what was left of that crew. Survived the destruction of the ship and was taken by Romulans and held captive. Only to be favoured by a high ranking official, taken as a concubine and bore him a child. Hense the birth of her daughter. LOL

I know. Long winded. But did that explain everything? LOL

Kent Taylor
Captain
Commanding Officer, Starbase 49

Yes very much so, see I told you, that you are a good writer.
