Why is it that as soon as the comand department is opened up everyone jumps into that department leaving every one else pure hanging lonesome in theier departments

Indeed. Im hoping that people realise theres more chance of them commanding something specialising in a specific area....

thats a good point never thot of that because Capt was cheif science until roy got promoted and cmndr kynnes was an energy and matter specialist until he made his way up
It well annoys me bt hay thats the way things go

now that makes sense but the thing is why havent they transfered back to their origional departments because it seems as though everyone thinks that they are better in this department which is clearly rubbish because your only as good as you can be so I don't see any ogic in that
