I liked them all. They left an indelible mark in their own unique ways and that made them unforgettable. Spock is my favourite but my second fave is a tie between McCoy and Scotty. They were both great.

Dr. McCoy's "I'm a doctor, not a..."-pattern for quotes was reimplemented with The Doctor of Star Trek: Voyager. The quote was also used by Dr. Bashir when preparing for his mission to the Enterprise in DS9: "Trials and Tribble-ations", when he was heard to say "I'm a doctor, not an historian".
"The Corbomite Maneuver" was the first appearance of McCoy contrasting his being a doctor with some other occupation.
Scotty was the only known person to counter the doctor's famous rhetorical statement in "Mirror, Mirror", when Scotty counters, "Now, you're an engineer."
And he said He's Dead Jim in so many different ways just to keep it Alive-LOL

you remember the TNG with the Dyson Sphere and his Scottys
Ship had crached into it and they found Scotty inside of the transporter that is what id call a really cool bit of engeneering

I think so , personally he was overreated, he did have a few good bits, like in the return home, but the lesser characters were the best such as Scotty or Chekov!!
