Does anyone have a favourite episode of DS9? I think my all time favourite was "You are Cordially Invited." When Worf and Dax got married. But there are a few others as well. The episode "Joined" I think it's called. Where Dax meets up with a former spouse in a new host and they are both woman. That was well written and directed as well as acted.

Which one? I just rented the DS9 dvds and Terry Farrel did an interview talking about both episodes. How they were both were so well directed and written. Plus she knew at "You are Cordially Invited" That she was nearing the end of her time on the series.

I could be wrong about the name for the episode that had Dax reunite with a former spouse in a new host but I'm pretty sure it's called joined. I'll have to look them both up to be sure.

I guess I could be wrong.

It was called, The Host, and it was different.Sorry!!!

Beverly fell in love with the host, and when the Host was changed to a female she didn't have the same feelings..

that's true, that was one of the first episodes to feature the trill. But in DS9 they also did an episode Athena is talking about.

For all the times I watched DS9, I don't think I have ever had a favorite episode. I belive every episode on DS9 were great.

DS9, Reminded me of Babalon 5, or Visea Versa, I'm not sure, but I did like both of them.

Man, I haven't heard the name Babalon 5 in a long time. Now that you mention it, they are kinda similar.

So did I. Babylon 5 was a good show. Of course with Harlen Ellison as one of the ones at the helm, what did you expect. LOL

More that I think about it, the episodes that I thought was pretty good was when Jake and Quarks son (name escapes me) goes on a shuttle trip with Ben and Quark and goes through the wormhole and then gets captured by the Dominion. I liked that one because that ship exploded and the effects were great. Not saying it exploding was a good thing but the effects were AWESOME.

The other episode I liked was when Dukat and his daughter was on DS9 and them they had to evacuate the station. Great episode.

I've liked pretty much all the DS9 i've seen (Which unfortuatly isn't nearly enough for me, lol) But I'd have to say that my all time favorite is "Way of the Warrior" When Worf first joins, after that I'd have to say "Favor the Bold"/"Sacrfice of Angels", then "Return to Grace" would be some of my personal favorites...

I too liked mostly all of the DS9 episodes, but I would have to say, one that I liked a little more was the episode where Quark & Rom are bringing Nog to Starfleet academy and they end up going back in time to the 70's and are taken as aliens for testing.  It's awesome how Odo just completely comes into the picture right at the end. :-*

Actually they went back to the 1940's or 50's. To Roswell New Mexico. That was a really great ep. Especially since Nog, Rom and Quark had no idea that Odo had gone along as well. When he morphed from that dog. It was great.

I suppose it depends on who you ask now doesn't it? One man's traitor is another's hero. I always liked Odo he was one of the best chars created. Though I think if someone else had been playing him I wouldn't have liked it as much. Just like John DeLancie and Q. Rene Auberjonois perfected the epitomized the Changelings IMO. Just a wonderful actour who created a wonderful character.

Tears of the Prophets, because it showed conflict, and was very emotional.

His Way, because of the Odo/Kira thing

Siege of Ar-558, because it showed a Starfleet different from what we have seen before, and it reminded me of Iraq right now.

Now being out of school and all, I finally get to watch DS9 during the day. I just saw this episode, which i dont know the name of, that i liked so much for some reason. It's the one where Nog has his leg cutoff and spends so much time in the holodeck.

That was a very good show! Wish they had a 8th season but can understand they were tired. Wish they make a movie, or just a made for tv movie. Again, it has been since 1999 they all have moved on.

The Seige of AR-558.

Amazing I can remember that off the top of my head.  That was an amazing episode.  It was nicely done, great story, and it really showed you what war was like on the battlefield.

I did love the last show of DS9. It was great and they went all out to make it. Do have that DVD and love to watch it from time too time. Oh I hate when they ended the series. Feel they could still get 3 or 5 more years out of the show. But can understand it was time to move on with life.
