I liked Voyager alot. It wasn't my favourite series but the characters were great as were the actors that portrayed them. Plus it was nice to see a woman in the center seat for a change. LOL. And to have a handsome guy have to obey her every whim. LOL

Just kidding. Or am I.

No in all honesty the show was good my favourite episode was Janeway and Chakotay on New Earth. I loved that one. Their chemistry was really good. And the series had a lot of nice moments. I also loved that Reg Barcley got to be a hero.

I thought Voyager was alright, but I thought the getting lost in the universe was kinda farfetched.

It did have some really stand out episodes. I was really getting into the show towards the end of it's run. Didn't really like the Chakotay/Seven pairing but hey, can't win them all. LOL

I didn't like them getting together at all , but that was just about the end,I think.

I liked Voyager because they did everything in a, Star Trek Military Manner, Just like, TNG, did...

That's true. Most likely because it was a female captain and they seem to have a lot more to prove then their male counterparts. I know as a lowly enlisted I still felt the same way. So I can only imagine as an officer with that responsibility she'd feel she'd have to just to prove she's as good as anyone.

The shows seemed more laid back with a male captain but there was always a military sensibility to it. In everthing including the chain of command. That was emphasized quite a bit in every different series.

In DS9, The Bajorans were making Starfleet make some changes, but Voyager was ran the same way as TNG,Rather it had a male or famale Captain...  :o

Yeah, I agree with you. It showed a crew on a journey of discovery with a whole new dynamic. On Voyager they were cut off and on their own. Which the Enterprise wasn't really. They still had Starfleet to fall back on. Janeway and her crew didn't they had to actually ration and reuse things not to mention trade with other cultures just so they could have their basics to survive. So in a way Voyager was more of a frontier type show. If you know what I mean.

I love Voyager, it is the best star trek series yet. It is totally out of this quadrant. My favourite episode is caretaker and message in a bottle.

Warning! Subspace Communication are going off line

Star Trek Voyager was the best, i agree with everyone that loves Voyager, i don't want to upset anyone, but voyager was excellent, ppl that don't like voyager or don't think that Voyager was great i really disagree with you SORRY.

When i first watched Voyager, like our chief counsellor, i looked at well not Chakotay, i looked at Janeway & WOW, she was really well perfect, but hey shes an actor, im just an obsessed Fan, OH WELL. VOYAGER NCC-74656, was the greatest.

God i need drink after that.

Im off to the MESS HALL.

...God Speed...McKay out..................

I really don't think VOY came anyway close to the greatness of TNG. TNG always showed the true nataure of Star Trek.

The only reason I say TNG is because that's the only show that I can directly realte to TOS. TOS is what started it all.

Yes it did. I grew up watching TOS in reruns. I was about 17 when TNG came out. So I loved them both. I think TNG is my favourite cause it was from my time. Things really make an impression when you are young or a teenager.  Especially right before graduation. The sky's the limit. You know?

I watched TOS from the begining, then TNG but it was different, then there was DS9-more like Babalyon 5, then Voyager a breath of fresh air, back to living on a starship...

The Voyager was kind of like The Fugitive meets Star Trek. Looking for the one arm anomaly or whole in space was great. Each episode was a new species or something nice and refreshing. Best episode would be Harry Kim having the timeline change and he winds up in San Francisco.

If Voyager wasn't in the delta quadrent there wouldn't have been a show, don't get me wrong, I really liked Voyager after TNG.

I agree. The delta quadrant opened up a whole new adventure. The producers could do what ever they wanted.

One, they were forced to go to the gamma quadrant. Two, Voyager never went into the wormhole but was at DS9.

He means: Why didn't voyager go from the Delta quadrant to the Gamma quadrant and get back through the wormhole. My guess: they didn't know where the exit of the bajoran wormhole was.

a bloddy good guess sir, the exit being hostile terrirtory, would make it hard to chart.

I think being shot across the universe isn't that far fetched as many other things voyger has done like: getting inside the core of the borg ship without being caught.
