Ladies and Gentlemen, and Whatever species may fall in between, I would like to say Congratulations to Commodore Veldman to getting the Site Up and Running Again, and Thanks to all of you who have made it possible and Kept It running. It is a Small Community, but One that will not easily be broken.
To Starbase 49.
It is very good to be back in uniform. I was glad to see many of our old members returning and new mebembers finding our small community. And i agree there can only be congratulations for Commodore Veldman on a job sublimely done
Thank you thank you, also for returning. My goal is to have the site in good shape when the new movie hits theaters. Too bad visitornumbers are 20% of what they were now :P
It is indeed great to be back. The new site looks amazing Roy. And I saw a preview of the new Star Trek movie when I was watching the new 007... It actually looks really good... A better background story on Kirk.
Yeah, I saw the trailer of the new movie on the official website.
And about the look of the site: it isn't even done yet. Still trying lots of things that will be released in the coming months.
Great work Roy, thanks for your effort putting this site back together!
Let's go for a new mission!
It's really good to have the site back Roy.
A new mission? I think we need to save Kynes first but lets take a vote on it.
Can we setup a poll for save Kynes or start a new mission?
Hmm, I will be sure to get into this next mission if I can. Seeing how I have alot more time then I used to. Heck all i do now is sit in my Barracks room waiting on orders. Then same thing waiting to get out of Pensacola.
Roy put the mission on Active Missions so we need to save Mr Kynes, were almost there and we just can't leave a mission uncompleted.
The current mission is 'The blockade' and it _is_ on active as far as I know.
Remember, the mission on the previous site was not an official mission and has not been saved.
That's a pity..
I think the best thing to do is to start a new one, we are all out of the rythm..
I think that both Captain and Mr Van Veen are correct, as Kent is right in that we should finish off the story from the old site first, but perhaps, we could all begin to think about the next mission, as it may help the crew find their stride again and perhaps create new ideas for the current mission. This is purely an observation and my opinion, so please do not take this as critisim to either Captain Taylor or Lt(lt cmndr??) Van Veen.
