Consider "The Shakedown" as training tool for the missions, learn how to post, who's Who? what do I do? Should I join in on this post? Well if you think it's easy don't even join because you are living a life online!
Who ever you are, what ever position you are, you have a right to post in The Shakedown! It is a department thing. like me I'm over all departments and with everything is going on I have no time to lead you through your department of technobable. this is something you eather have or don't have.
Technobable that you use must be "CANNON" That means it has to go along with the star trek time line of 2368, Because that is our timeline.
So if you think our have the stuff, Join and start posting!
ooc: Jim, Rockape, Can you add anything?
Sir,
I think I can say from my time on this station that everyone here is very friendly and willing to help each other. So, if you're new to your department and don't really know what to do or how to do it, come and ask us. Remember though this is a Federation Starbase, and rank is always observed (at least by me, I can't speak for all the other members of the crew
). That aside, if you want some real help and advise, arrange a meeting in Qroys, and you'll get all the help and advice you'll need.
One last peace of advice
Enjoy yourself here, after a while, you'll start to feel like apart of the family and that's the way we like it.
Thanks
Lt Cdr Rockape
Nothing much to add, except for a shout out to the new folks joining us from an IP address far far away. Hello. Greetings. I don't want to be giving The Nth Degree, you joined up, so please do post in the missions or Q'Roys. You never know, you may enjoy it and send a few more. We do.
In Theory anyway. None of us have spent Half A Life on this site (yet) but we all want to go Where No One Has Gone Before, and this is the closest we can get for now. There is no Booby Trap here, short of a Disaster, you should enjoy The Game, and it shouldn't be too much of a Conundrum. All Good Things, however, mean I should stop this rant and allow the BBC to appologise for the content of this post.
Slight Disclaimer: If this doesn't make much sense, I have been working very hard, and have been doing lots of voluntary Panto work. May be a little tired.
