The Fleet

Acacia Fleet was founded in 2358 as a defence force during the construction of Starbase 49, as the region of space SB49 was located (near the Romulan Neutral Zone and the border of the Klingon Empire) saw a lot of political instability, and is only reachable by passing through Klingon space. When in 2364, after 53 years of silence, the Romulans showed themselves again, the existence of Acacia Fleet become even more important.
Acacia Fleet's mission is to protect the region and to explore and expand the unknown at the border of Federation space.
